Safety & Respect Guidelines

Flistr is built on principles of consent, respect, and inclusivity. These guidelines help keep our community safe for everyone.

In an Emergency
If you are in immediate danger, call 911 or your local emergency services. For non-emergency support, contact local crisis hotlines or support organizations.

Consent-First Culture

Consent is mandatory, enthusiastic, and ongoing. It can be withdrawn at any time. No means no. Silence is not consent. Respect boundaries always.

  • Always ask before physical contact
  • Respect "no" without pressure or guilt
  • Check in regularly during encounters
  • Consent to one activity doesn't mean consent to all
  • Intoxication affects the ability to consent

Inclusive & Respectful Language

Flistr welcomes people of all gender identities, sexual orientations, and backgrounds. Use language that respects everyone's identity.

  • Use the pronouns people specify in their profiles
  • Respect people's stated gender identities
  • Don't make assumptions based on appearance
  • Avoid fetishizing or objectifying language
  • If you make a mistake, apologize and correct it

LGBTQIA+ Protections

Flistr has zero tolerance for discrimination, harassment, or hate speech targeting LGBTQIA+ individuals.

  • Trans and non-binary identities are valid and respected
  • "Chasers" and fetishizers will be banned
  • Outing someone without consent is prohibited
  • Misgendering or deadnaming is not tolerated
  • Report any transphobia, homophobia, or biphobia immediately
